United Way Chennai continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusion and accessibility. Through the CSR initiative of Capital Refractories, 25 wheelchairs were distributed to persons with disabilities, enabling greater mobility, independence, and dignity in their daily lives.

With the support of our CSR partner, United Way Chennai conducted a Drug Abuse Awareness Program in Ennore (Ennore Bus Stand & Thazhankuppam), reaching 500+ community members. Spreading awareness on the risks of substance abuse and promoting healthier choices.

With the support of our CSR partner, a once unusable patch of land at the Government ADW Boys' Higher Secondary School in Sevvapet, Thiruvallur district has been transformed into a vibrant sports facility, benefiting 281 students.

Inclusion in action! With the support of our donor, we hosted an Inter-School Sports Day for children with special needs from 4 partner schools in Chennai—marking the valedictory of our inclusive education program. Celebrating abilities, joy & togetherness!

75 women completed a 5-month tailoring and Aari work training supported by our CSR partner. At the end of the program, each participant received a tailoring machine, stool, Aari work stand, and materials kit to help them begin their livelihood journey.
