Why measuring uncertainty is so hard often comes down to the simplest theorems in probability theory. Assume you have 2 random variables X₁ and X₂ such that E[X₁] = E[X₂] and Var[X₁] = Var[X₂]. Then E[X₁ + X₂] = E[X₁] + E[X₂] = 2 E[X₁] no matter what.

💯 hurts everyone: 1. US$ reserves of several nations IN & CN go up w ⬆️ outsourced US tech jobs + lack of student move to US 2. CAD$ could be ⬆️ than USD, 3. Certain US univs dependent foreign students may shut down (programs) (mostly GOP states)..
