@JohnFallot Internship if you're a student, or just start doing UX stuff as part of your current job. Freelancers are expected to have skills already.

@JohnFallot When I interview folks for jobs, I want them to speak from experience rather than fiction. Better to get the experience than to make it up.

@JohnFallot Recs re: portfolio - show how you helped move the team from initial concepts to final product. Much better than just showing final comps.
