Artist thoughts: I was terrified of telling the world I'm an artist, not because I didn't want to be one but because I knew what being an artist entailed. English is not my first laguage and I frequently screw up when I write, and on top of it all, I'm dyslexic (thank God for autocorrect or I'd be a mess). People used to make fun of me as a kid for those mistakes. I grew up insecure, and that left me with a scar for many years. The truth is that I had, and still am, learning to talk in public, learning to articulate, learning to be in front of cameras, and not be nervous... Being an artist is an ever-evolving process, but I would not have it any other way, because today I am doing what I was born to do in this life, ART.

Following up from yesterday, I'm buying some art over the next two weeks. If you would like your piece to be considered in this post: Submit one piece as a reply to this post that you made and is available on Ethereum layer 1. You may also use your post to share something about your artistic journey and introduce yourself. I will purchase at least one piece from submissions. @OmletteMerve will curate and we will share a number of pieces from submissions. I'm setting a personal goal to write something about 2-3 pieces from the submissions over the next 2-3 weeks. My collecting lately has been biased towards 1/1s, but editions will also be considered. Submissions are not restricted to any particular theme. I will close comments in ~72 hours

cool. now let’s see if we actually go multi-chain. i don’t force every collector to be chain agnostic, and ppl can spend their money the way they like. but if other collectors/artists also believe in multichain future, you should help advocate the curation to be cross chain.

Been working on this bts since I first saw the announcement by @batsoupyum. We already have some pledges for Art on @solana. If you are interested or know someone who may be, hit me up. This isn't something that has to be out in the open, you can remain anon, and it can be any marketplace or platform on Solana, but we will report in the same fashion to ensure trust in the process. Shooting for a full report on this in 2 weeks. Big thanks to the Ethereum community and people like Bats, @redbeardnft @SamSpratt and many others who believe so strongly in their communities. We believe strongly in ours and look forward to continue building it.
