@uzername_soup ive been trying that alot but ive found i get so exhausted drawing recently,,, i used to draw daily but now im forced to take long breaks,, maybe its cause my skills are still formulating like a muscle and i need the break?? i dunno what todo and forcing myself sucks,,,,

Something that I hope will bring comfort to newer artists: if you draw a lot every day you WILL end up getting better. Cultivate your taste so that you’re not working aimlessly, but oftentimes it just takes a little time for the practice to marinate in your brain.

But this has been the best way for me to improve. If you just draw a lot and often you WILL see results.

I know you all follow me for stupid drawings but the price of free art is that i can subject you to my opinions on dramaturgy/storytelling as much as I’d like

It also kind of doesn’t make sense. How are you gonna hold a character — aka a concept that isn’t real — accountable. Is that really what you care about when enjoying a story ?????????

It’s so antithetical to how I enjoy stories. If a character is well written I will be interested regardless of how horrible they are. THEY are my PLAY THINGS, and I get JOY out of making them SUFFER. I cause their pain for FUN👹👹👹 !!!

I don’t get this treating characters like real people thing. I actually don’t care about “accountability or“responsibility” at all. As someone who likes stories and characters and all these things, what is better than setting characters off spinning & watching them crash?
