ngl Somnia DeFi stats looking kinda dry rn
- TVL: ~$1.36M
- 24h DEX volume: ~$6K
- fees: $83
- revenue: $41
to put it in perspective, even mid-tier chains are pulling:
- $10M-$100M+ TVL
- $1M+ daily volume
right now it feels like we’re early, maybe too early 😂no real perp dex, no strong prediction market, not enough reasons for capital to stay and rotate. quests bring users but protocols keep liquidity
if Somnia wants to level up DeFi, we need:
- a solid perp venue (Hyperliquid type energy)
- a sticky prediction market (Polymarket vibes)
- better incentives to keep money onchain, not just farm and leave
the tech is there, the community is there. now it’s just missing that one killer app to flip the switch

Hello friends) I haven't posted for a while because my Twitter was shadowbanned and I needed to give my profile some time to rest( Now I'm back with you and I want to tell you that the @Somnia_Network project is holding the Guardian Nomination. I want to receive the SOMNIA GUARDIAN role because for me it’s not just a title...it’s an opportunity to be even closer to a project that has become a truly important part of my life. I genuinely enjoy being part of this community, watching it grow, evolve, and bring together so many different yet amazing people. I also want to highlight the people I talk with on Discord...you are the ones who create the atmosphere that makes me want to come back every day. I truly appreciate our conversations, the support, and the strong sense of community. It’s important for me to be helpful, so I’m always happy to assist, give advice, or simply be there when someone needs support. I actively participate in the life of the project: events, poker, and other activities...for me, they’re not just entertainment but a way to stay involved and contribute. I’ve already completed the second season of Dark Table, and I’m not planning to stop...I love being present, participating, and moving forward together with the community. For me, the SOMNIA GUARDIAN role feels like a natural continuation of my journey here. UPDATED: HOW MUCH ALLOCATION WILL THERE BE FOR SOMNIA S5 AIRDROP? (2)
Every single month, when tokens are unlocked according to the vesting schedule, the official @Somnia_Network Community wallet sends all the unlocked $SOMI to this wallet: 0xFeE1f2499aA4B21B3933e1624489BF144F82a7bF
Currently, this wallet holds 24.3M (≈ 2.43% of total supply).
Of course, I don’t know the detailed distribution for this allocation. But there is one purpose I’m certain about: Airdrop for the community.
Assumption:
If Somnia launches S5 airdrop in April and uses Odyssey to distribute rewards over the next 2 months, this community wallet would receive 3 additional unlocked rounds (April - May - June): 0.41% × 3 = 1.23%
By then, the allocation for Community could be: 2.43% + 1.23% = 3.66%
> Technically speaking, thanks to the snapshot delay: it is reasonable to expect that the Somnia S5 airdrop allocation could reach 3% or more.
This is my most optimistic scenario for now 😄
