@PoisonJL yes, as long as that jack is being fed by a router already. adding another router would give you double nat issues.

Can any IT nerd explain this to me, New apartment I’m moving to has built in wifi setup already can I just plug an Ethernet splitter directly into this wall and then setup my dual pc setup without a modem or router?
