Same here 😞 Between Renegades, HTT and Dot Esports I’ve lost thousands of articles including news, interviews, features, and more. I’ve archived a few important pieces but knowing the bulk of my esports work is scattered to the wind is incredibly demoralising and demotivating.

@ConkyOCE The rift between Asia - Pacific is getting untenable. Seriously can’t see how CS can thrive in APAC when everyone’s hating on each other like this. Maybe there’s solutions? More Oceanic spots in their tournaments, vice versa for Asian teams? Doesnt seem to fix the core issue.

Man I hate this shit, such an awful feeling. At least with the Asia RMR, the Aussie, Mongolian & Chinese teams would battle it out leaving it all on the line. Now we’ve just had this initially exciting race fall limp with a team getting two FF wins. Pretty tragic ending.

@BenTheLegendCS @HLTVorg @valvesoftware Just prior to utter “domination” of the local teams in two consecutive LANs they lost back to back to two international teams. I don’t see those two teams head and shoulders above your and the rest of participating teams. It’s been a real head-scratcher.

Firstly, we will fight for our spot in the major no matter what, and know we have to win the XSE Cup to secure an invitation. But when a team FF’s a match to give another team VRS points, how is that any different to throwing a match. @HLTVorg & @valvesoftware plz make a stand.

Theres a large disconnect between the Asia & Oceania thats been growing rapidly over the last few months. I have nothing against OCE having to prove itself internationally that’s part of competing at the top. And thats exactly how smaller regions like ours get better. But if your ability to even qualify for a major entirely relies on access to events your region doesn’t have, time & time again? Feels broken.

Regardless of what has happened. Should Asia & OCE be bundled together? Here is the interaction network from last major. OCE is its own distinct region. Should teams really be required to fly across the world to even have a chance?

0-3 in Pro League. Took a map of @TeamLiquid, almost took the series on Inferno.. Is also the first Map a team from AU (with the exception of Flyquest) has taken in @ESLCS Pro League since Rooster in Season 20. 4x EU Lans, 2x Online Qualifiers #13 -> #9 in Asian VRS.. The @SemperFiESC boys have put in some absolute work the last couple months. 2026 is a massive year for this team.
Semper Fi@semperfiESC

So. Close. We go down to @TeamLiquidCS 1-2. With that result, we are officially eliminated from @ESLCS Pro League Season 23. Heads up lads, you made your region proud. 🇦🇺🇱🇻🇳🇿 ( personally I reckon we go 3-0 if stage 1 was Lan all I’m sayn ) #ESLProLeague #CS2 #TeamLiquid #ESLCS #Esports #AUCS

The long awaited VRS Major predictions for the Americas 🌎invites to the Cologne major. Furia, NRG and MIBR are likely safe 🇦🇷9z and 🇧🇷 Sharks currently hot favourites in the race from potential Open LAN gains. 🇧🇷 paiN , 🇧🇷 Legacy and 🇧🇷 Imperial at risk of getting caught out

Today, we're announcing a significant expansion to the #IEM Cologne Major 2026 format. For the first time ever all matches in Stage 3 of a Major will now be played as a best-of-three series.

I never told my story about leaving ESL. Here it is: I resigned from my role as General Manager of ESL Australia after disputes with a Regional Director over a conflict of interest in the LCO - whereby an owner of the league had financial ties to Dire Wolves, a team in the league, and also managed by Spiller. Dire Wolves players made several complaints to the league complaining of mistreatment, particularly nonpayment, ongoing for many months at that stage. I have seen many dodgy things in esports over the years, but I really couldn’t stand kids (to me) being ripped off by these big orgs and in particular ones that had shady ties to league owners (*cough* Guinevere *cough*) We, being the LCO project leads, league management, etc, tried to enforce rules and take action against the team. Ultimately, this lead to looking into kicking the Dire Wolves out of the LCO. After many warnings, I personally reached out to Riot to ask for their approval to boot the team and they responded with, and I quote, “Go get ‘em”. It was at this time that I had a meeting with the co-owner of the league, from Guinevere, to tell them I’m kicking Dire Wolves out. They immediately contacted my direct manager, who called me from half way around the world to request a “tools down” on the LCO topic. From that point I was taken off everything LCO. From my perspective, the LCO, particularly Guinevere, ESL senior management and Dire Wolves management, including Spiller, were complicit in ripping off their own players, and trying to bury it, downplaying the seriousness of the issue. My regret is I never shared the true reason I left ESL. Good riddance to Arcanist, a key player in ripping off people in ANZ esports. stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360845…
