@vZeroG I’ve got it in insanely aggressive on setting my default profiles to suppress most notifications so I can just enjoy life. The new ultra you also don’t have to charge daily. It’s just fine.

You don’t understand. At all. Wealthy people don’t want a big Prius. They want actual luxury - which isn’t just a quiet vehicle. They want engineering excellence. Batteries and electric motors are simple and boring. Zero apparent differentiation other than range and acceleration. They want what others aspire to have. No one aspires to have an EV in the same way they aspire to own a Rolls Royce, Ferrari, etc. The failure of the electric versions of these vehicles was easily predictable if you truly understood the clients who buy them.

I feel like I’m going insane. Electric makes THE MOST sense in a Rolls. They’ve worked for decades to make that V12 as smooth and quiet as possible, but electric is better in every metric. How the hell is ostentatious quiet luxury losing a fake culture war???

I’m seeing a number of people dunking on the new Starfield update, calling it the “NMS Update” or the “TEMU Star Citizen Patch” and whatnot and I just think it’s cool they’re still pushing and evolving. Making games of this caliber is absurdly hard these days. That they continue forward when so many cut and run today should, in my opinion, be celebrated without the unnecessary slights. If more people finally give space games a try because Starfield, NMS, Jump Ship, Astroneer, and more keep evolving, then it helps us all. ❤️

What I’m realizing is 99.9999999999999999999999999% of AI posts are from people that are trying to get more followers and clicks and has no real world experience on actually deploying. “Improve your workflow 80% by this one Claude skill” “Omg they just released this and it changes the industry completely” It’s all bogus. Create your own workflow that is tailored to you. Don’t buy into this garbage.

@sysadafterdark @ShadeNoah Lenovo actually makes decent servers these days. They aren’t at the level of the former IBM System boxes, but they’re legitimately nice to work on if you can get past the ownership concerns. Not my fav, but not bad.

@ShadeNoah Never been a huge fan of Lenovo servers. Everyone I work with has Dell, HP, Netapp, and Cisco.
