For her Cybersecurity 2 project, Jade taught our RISE learners all about strong passwords! Learners had fun sorting examples as “Safe” and “Unsafe” and even the adults walked away with new tips! 😁 #MineolaProud @mineolahs

#GirlsWhoCode and #WiCyS stopped by @MsDiFede 's AP Computer Science A class to help coders debug by giving them their own Rubber Ducky! They were able to adopt and name their own duck to help them solve problems and thing through coding projects! #MineolaProud

Thank you @cyber_dot_org for hosting #NationalCyberCup We had 4 classes compete & collaborate in this event!The competition had 200 teams compete and our teams performed well! MHS had 7 teams rank in the top 100 & top 4 ranks: 31st, 35th, 39th, and 40th place! #MineolaProud

Today in #APCSP, learners demonstrated their mastery of our Data Unit by participating in an Escape Room. They converted binary numbers, examined data and metadata, and weighed lossless vs. lossy compression in order to escape! @mineolahs @MineolaUFSD
