I shortly contracted with a company building exactly this some time last year as a backend engineer. The problem is real but this solution is nothing but a gimmick. I don't think there's any world in which it works. 1. You're not going to convince hundreds of thousands of companies to start printing your QR codes on their products. 2. You're not going to convince millions/billions of consumers to download your app to verify the authenticity of products. 3. Let's assume you're able to pull the above off, it still doesn't solve any problem because a counterfeit product can easily copy the QR code and print it in their label. I respect the attempt at combating counterfeit products but this solution again is a gimmick at best.

@therealsultannn yes, that's the main worry. I don't have access to the stats but I am fairly sure his baseline win % is down this year compared to 24/25 (and probably substantially down)

@minopapi1 @TheTennisLetter He beat Alcaraz 2 times in a row at the end of last season tho. He is playing fine now, unless he gets injured his chances are ok 50:50 against Alcaraz, on any surface. The chances are higher on indoor hard, cause he wins Alcaraz consistently on indoor hardcourt

@minopapi1 @TheTennisLetter He upped his serve since AO. He served well against Nole even, but break points not converted hurt him. But now he's averaging an 9.0 serve quality so even today that he played badly, his serve helped him
