I agree with this, because I am naturally a loud person people have said I am too loud in such a rude manner and lowering me down that it ends up making me become non verbal because I end up feeling super bad for being loud in the first place. As long as they aren’t saying it in a rude manner it would be fine to lower me down cause I know I talk and laugh loud. 😅

Not that I am trying to speak for this person but I 100% understand what they mean- it's less about the action of lowering someone's volume and more about the *announcement.* It can make the person feel like they're being loud or annoying. People have said to me "wow you're so loud I'm lowering you" and the way they said it made me feel like absolute shit and not want to talk. So I think it's in the delivery. Tbh I just personally wouldn't tell someone if I'm lowering their volume- if someone is overstimulating me I just lower them. Don't wanna make someone feel bad cus they might be more animated or their mic is louder.
