What’s happening to the @theallinpod? They used to talk about what’s interesting in Tech. Now feels like politics and conspiracy theory debunking have permanent segments each week. I’ve listened for years - why are they messing with what was working?

@svpino Fair point and I agree for the most part. But this argument falls apart quickly when you try to build a product that people love. “Ask someone to write it for you” very quickly becomes catastrophic. If you’re not building products, and just doing research, fair enough.

My machine learning professor taught me something I'll never forget: Always focus on the analysis and don't worry about the code. Copy the code. Steal it. Ask somebody to write it for you. It doesn't matter. Coding is easy. Knowing what to code is what truly matters.

There are investors that believe all that matters is getting in the deal, and you can't do a thing for founders. Don't bother trying. There are other investors that believe you work with people to create the future, do no harm and always try to help. (I think this is the way.)

@jaltma I have the most respect for @jaltma and I wish I could be in SF at a younger age. The incredible people I built companies with were the least likely to meet anywhere else.

If you’re a young person interested in working in tech, you should be in the bay area if you can. The network is so strong here, in person work matters, AI is here. It’s also beautiful and the perfect temperature for working 🤗 Ignore the hate on twitter, SF is where it’s at.
