@LSeadawg How long did it take for the visa to come after you have made the call to UKVI?

2 - for Both the paid emails got an automated response stating its awaiting a decision . However I called UKVI on 29th and they said a decision has been made on 19th and they raise a ticket . And finally collected my passport today. Think there is a big mess in whole UKVI .

Finally received my UK VISA . Received an email from VFS stating passport has been dispatched .Submitted biometrics on 5 May 2022 at VFS KOCHI. Applied for a short term student visa. Sent a paid email on first of week of July and then another on 16 July #UKVISADELAY

I checked Google reviews and it turns out VFS has a habit of not sending out passport collection emails and I am now concerned that my passport is ready for collection but no email has been sent out. PLEASE HELP!! I have urgent emergency travel requirements and I NEED MY PASSPORT

@VFSGlobal I applied for a UK visa and submitted my biometrics on 21st April 2022. I was informed by VFS and as their website states, the process takes 15 working days or 4 weeks in total both of which have passed.

@sids_203 @sandeep_baid @VFSGlobal I am in same situation. Received the visa for my mother, no information on my father's visa. same biometrics on 23rd May at New Delhi.

@UKinIndia How long do we have to wait for visitor visa ? No updates on that yet ? Atleast be courteous to let people know a tentative date when they have already waited for 6 weeks ? Even after opting for paid service all we get is a generic reply #UKVISADELAY

Beat the August rush! Demand is high for Student visas and they are taking 5 weeks to process. We recommend that you apply in July if able to do so rather than waiting until August.
