People will look at this and tell you with a straight face that demons aren’t real.

Start expecting more from yourself and less from others. As soon as you put your mental, physical, or financial well being in someone else’s hands, you are setting yourself up for failure and disappointment. Next to my bed is a vision board with all kinds of goals I have. Some I’ve hit, some I haven’t. The biggest part says “Have you done enough today?” If you can’t climb into bed each night by saying “yes”, then the days not over. Some of my days are better than others, like anyone else. That’s why I always tell you “I’m just a dude on the internet”. But I did make the decision a long time ago to take the reins and decide what my life was going to look like. The life I wanted wasn’t going to happen putting my faith in someone else. Yours won’t either. So……. Have you done enough today?

Life isn’t fair and it SHOULDN’T be. When I chose to do fat and lazy things, I received fat and lazy results. I was huge and broke. I got EXACTLY what I deserved. When I started doing things that fit and successful people do, I got those results as well. This is life is what you make of it. If you choose the path of least resistance you will spend your entire life fat, broke, and working for someone else’s dream. We only get ONE SHOT at how we do this life. I refuse to go through it upset and full of regrets. Do. The. Same.

Growing up in the 90’s…Home Improvement was the top show… Two parents. Boys in the home. Real people. Real conversations. A neighbor, Wilson, across the fence that you couldn't see his mouth but they were friends and he's given advice and they actually knew their neighbor. Traditional home. That was normal. Then we got sold a different life a decade later…. What’s the top show in the world? Friends. Go inner city, no mention of parents, no mention of real siblings unless it's a joke and a punch line. Don't get married, don't have kids, that's a waste, live your own life. That happened from the 80s to the 90s. Then we get into Seinfeld, same thing…no purpose. Just sarcasm. Don’t get married. Don’t have kids. Responsibility is a joke. “Just do you” Fast forward to today… Kids don’t know who they are. Men don’t know how to lead. Nobody knows their neighbor. And everyone’s staring at a screen waiting to be told what to think. People who are easy to sell to, easy to influence and easy to keep distracted. Remember, strong families create men. Weak families create consumers who are easily manipulated and influenced. Sadly, this anti-family force is only getting stronger by the day. Especially with big companies who have access to our children via social media…because they know that if they can rip them away from the family…then they are now the product and they can make more money off of them. That’s the game. Time to wise the fuck up and bring the standard back. Do I need to remind you that your last name actually means something?

Won’t ever change up my thoughts like others on this platform, matter of fact I share these thoughts months or even years before moves take place. If we put in a new high this year then I’m simply wrong. Until then let’s all hope we can get a better buying opportunity in October. Trust me the longer you do this the more you crave sell offs for long term opportunities, without the opportunities sell offs provide there’s no major cash to be made during times of panic.

Take it from me, a recent empty nester: The Good Old Days don’t feel like it at the time. It feels more like hard work and struggle. The days are long but the years fly by. Then, one day you wake up and the house is quiet. One of my most cherished memories is coming home from work each day and opening the creaky back door to our 1947 craftsman home. My 3-year-old daughter (now 21) would drop her toys and run down the hall—her footsteps booming on the old wood floor—to greet me. I love my life and don’t want to go back, but I do wish I could pass one message across time to 35-year-old me: You’re living the Good Old Days right now. Savor every moment.

Grab a bunch of epic fantasy books as thick as your head. Replace all your TV and social media time reading them. Your brain will slowly start to work again. The focus from reading the thick ass wordy books will slowly put it back together. Sanderson. Abercrombie. Gaimman. Pierce Brown. Great places to start. Replacing this as your main time wasting hobby will give you absolutely crazy returns when it comes to actually making money. The focus you gain will make you lethal.
