The anti-AI movement is ultimately going nowhere, because no CEO is going to risk their company getting wrecked by sitting out AI, which means the employees will all have to use it, and that's that Maybe the incentives offered to locales to have data centers will go up, but they will get built on Native American reservations if things get stupid enough

Most of the water being used by Data Centers is recycled & reused. Some is evaporated, eventually rains down returning to the land.
Some Data Centers operate a closed loop system, little to no waste.
It's the next climate hoax, don't fall for it. These narratives benefit China.

People using TikTok and social media to complain about data centres is something I still can’t get my head around. I think, for some people, “data centre” = AI, and they don’t make the connection that literally everything online runs on data centres.

BREAKING: In a win for Luigi Mangione the judge rules the cops conducted an illegal search and seizure violating Luigi’s 4th amendment rights since they didn’t have a search warrant.
All items found in Luigi’s backpack at the Pennsylvania McDonald’s will not be allowed at trial.
The judge is allowing the gun to be used at trial since cops claim they didn’t find the gun until they got back to the police station.
This has always been the most suspicious part of the case because how did the cops miss the gun at McDonalds?
The cops could have easily planted the gun in Luigi’s backpack on their way to the station, which is what Luigi’s lawyers should argue.

An impact that would only give a guy something to think about, could send a gal reeling, give her a nasty bruise, or worse.

A town of farmers in Wisconsin just told big tech no. Cassville residents voted 44-0 to ban data centers, walking away from a $1 billion project promising 50 jobs and $5.5 million a year in tax revenue.
The reason? The data center would have consumed 500 acres of Driftless farmland and up to 500 megawatts of power.
Across the Midwest, more towns are using zoning to defend farmland from speculators they've never met.

Physical violence should never be used, so I don't condone what she did, but you epically fucked up.
If it was reversed and she screwed up and you slapped her, that would be bad. so up to you if you want to leave, press charges etc.
