@jarendavis @danielmwoodruff @kevinolearytv @KSLcom @KSL5TV 100% agree. Lots of folks outside of Utah weighing in here trying to sway decisions of residents of our state. These will get built….full stop. Either in Utah, the U.S. or in other countries. They will be built.

Oil facility hit in the UAE as IRGC strikes escalate. Fujairah port targeted, multiple sites damaged, and ships reportedly struck. Oil markets reacting instantly, Brent crude already up ~5%. Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command launches operations to secure the Strait of Hormuz, a corridor responsible for nearly a quarter of global oil flow. Missile alerts still active across the UAE. Civilians urged to shelter immediately.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 If Iran has to choose between damage to its oil facilities and shooting its way out of the Strait it will choose to shoot. Prof. Foad Izadi from Iran says Trump's oil storage deadline came and went with nothing blowing up, and his intelligence is coming from Netanyahu not anyone serious. If you accept the bullying there is no end to it. Trump wants Iranian oil, Iranian borders, Iranian regime change. "There is no other option. The U.S. has given Iran one option and that is to resist." @IzadiFoad
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The Strait of Hormuz sits in Iranian territorial waters and there is no time limit on that geographic reality. Prof. Foad Izadi from Iran says Iran has been a coastal state to the Strait since the beginning of civilization. The U.S. is 11,000 kilometers away with zero legal standing. "They have no right here. The U.S. is a coastal state to the Gulf of Mexico. It is the Gulf of Mexico." @IzadiFoad

@Mountain_Topple @SecScottBessent @FOOL_NELSON We had oil prices at $100 per barrel in 2002 for six months and came out in pretty good shape. I’m feeling great about everything going on right now. More pressure, please!

While the surviving IRGC Leaders are trapped like drowning rats in a sewage pipe, Iran’s creaking oil industry is starting to shut in production thanks to the U.S. BLOCKADE. Pumping will soon collapse. GASOLINE SHORTAGES IN IRAN NEXT!
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent@SecScottBessent

Doing business with sanctioned Iranian airlines risks exposure to U.S. sanctions. Foreign governments should take all actions necessary to ensure that companies in their jurisdictions do not provide services to those aircraft, including the provision of jet fuel, catering, landing fees or maintenance. Under Economic Fury, the @USTreasury will impose maximum pressure on Iran and will not hesitate to act against any third parties that facilitate or conduct business with Iranian entities. wsj.com/livecoverage/i…

@zengucapital @SecScottBessent Look back to 2022 and you can see exactly what happens when oils is this high for six months. What is the cost per year of the IRGC exporting global terror? $300B? This is roughly equal to 100 days of $100 oil. This war, if it wipes out the IRGC has a huge RIO

@Daniel74915780 @SecScottBessent 80%+ of people in Iran want the IRGC gone at all costs. I’m assuming you are wising misery on those 80%, and those tens of thousands recently murdered by this regime. That’s shameful

@PBalian11 @SecScottBessent I’m not a huge Trump fan, but I do believe in being factual and balanced in my reactions. I’m curious how much you complained during the six months in 2022 that fuel prices were this high during the Biden Admin. This has a huge upside if IRGC is eliminated, of $200b+ per yr

@SecScottBessent I don’t care about what Iran is doing. What I worry about is soaring gas and commodity prices here in U.S. due to failed policies of the current administration - domestically and internationally!

@VillagerHustler @SecScottBessent I’d recommend doing a little research to not look so uninformed. Iran exports unrefined crude oil to other countries (e.g. China) who refine it using domestic refineries. Iran has very little refining capacity due to sanctions, and the regime’s choice to fund terrorism.

@SecScottBessent Mr. Secretary, how can overproduction of oil lead to shortages at domestic level. Iran has higher production, diminishing storage levels but sufficient stock for domestic use. Sometimes you want to behave like President Mr. Trump, but please mind your treasury business!

@Nick_Delehanty The daily global reduction in oil between Jan and April 2026 is about 10m barrels or about 10% of global demand. This is primarily all oil that China would have received, which now it isnt. This feels more like a plea for China than anything else

Irishman David Roche see’s what’s coming: “We are going to run out of fuel in the global economy” “The markets are in cloud cuckoo land” “We are moving beyond initial inflationary affects to the second stage where there is no gas to price” “Within a few months we will be in an economy which has to adjust downwards to eliminate demand for fuel that’s not there”

@JohnFos83010779 @Nick_Delehanty It’s temporary. It is also the cost of finally rooting out the global sponsor of terrorism. Which by the way costs the world a couple of hundred billion dollars per year

@Nick_Delehanty I paid $1500 for 3 one way LAX-CDG tickets in June. Norse canceled all flights on this route for the summer. I had to purchase 3 new tickets, $3K on Air Tahiti was lowest. $4.5K Delta/AA/UA. New reality.

@Nick_Delehanty It’s simple economics. Iran GDP = $300B, so a 40 day Hormuz embargo costs them $16-$20b, which equate to ~7% of GDP. IS impact is ~$1B per day, or $40B over 40 days, which equals about 1/10 of 1% of GDP. I’m feeling pretty good about the U.S.’s odds in winning this one.

@Nick_Delehanty China and Iran cannot afford to have this extend beyond another 30 days. If it does go that long, this will look like a v-shaped demand destruction and demand creation curve. Which is very similar to what Covid looked like. The US is producing enough oil and gas domestically
