- Meet Ahmed Nizam Mohaideen - built an app that got acquired by Google for ₹280–350 crore - founder of Where Is My Train - built it after facing train delays himself - got frustrated waiting for updates - poor internet connectivity - there was no simple way to track trains - then saw the problem - millions travel by train daily in India - but tracking was confusing & data-heavy - He thought: “Why not build something that works without internet?” - so he built Where Is My Train in 2015 - works offline using cell tower data - fast, simple, and super reliable - people started to love it - it crossed 100 million downloads - earned almost nothing in the early days - just pure focus on solving the problem - which led to Google acquiring it for ₹280–350 crore Crazy how one simple idea and right execution can do miracles 🔥
