最近のSpaceX(xAI)のディールにより、計算量が貨幣として実際に機能する現実が証明されてしまっているわけなので、計算資源に貨幣と同様の機能が宿る説は的外れではないどころか将来我々は様々な価値をお金ではなく計算量の何らかの単位(トークン)でやり取りする社会の姿が現実味を帯びてきた気がする

Bip-110 node runners: Check today to make should your node is still discoverable. My node using Comcast was knocked offline and my modem showed a weird device added to the local address I had set for my node. I reset my router to factory setting and added back my devices. My node is back up. If you run bip-110 please recheck to see if it's online.

I am not exaggerating when I say the vast majority of accounts replying to me supporting BIP-110 were created in 2023 or later. I can count on clicking on their profile and it showing 2023+ account creation date. Even if there is a kernel of real organic support, it's pretty evident bots are attempting to embellish things.

@zndtoshi No. The most pressing concern is people not wanting to participate in activity they perceive to be immoral or illegal. The vast majority of humanity consists of moral actors; only the small minority who have no moral scruples will even be candidates to operate nodes.

They will not admit it anymore.. but it was in the first version of the BIP too. The most pressing bip110 concern is LEGAL. Their main objective is to make Bitcoin submissive to the almighty State. Bitcoin is ancap and they will learn it the hard way.

Miners should really switch to Datum/Ocean instead of pointing their hashing to big pools that don't seem to care about Bitcoin as money in the long term.

Wasn't mining Spam supposed to be profitable? 4745 Monkeys & Dicks = 0.008 BTC. 2777 Bitcoin Txs = 0.019 BTC. A simple miner generating their own templates and mining with Datum using the RDTS/BIP-110 client makes Bitcoin healthier than what Foundry mines, and also earns more.
