It's funny when Bayern fans try to act like their club is financially perfect when the only reason they cleared the Allianz Arena debt early was by selling 25% of the club 😂😂😂 Bayern Munich sold 25% of the club in three separate deals: Adidas bought 10% in 2002 for €77m, Audi bought 9.09% in 2009 for €90m, and Allianz bought 8.33% in 2014 for €110m, mainly to help finance and repay the Allianz Arena project while strengthening the club financially. For comparison, if Barcelona sold 25% of the club today based on modern football valuations, it could probably generate around €1.5bn considering Barça are valued at over €5bn and generate close to €1bn yearly in revenue. That alone would wipe out the club's financial issues, but Barcelona will never sell part of the club and the socios will continue to own 100% of Barça. Yet, the club is already solving their financial issues... And by the way, even Real Madrid's financial situation isn't magically perfect either, otherwise Florentino Perez wouldn't even be considering the possibility of selling a minority stake in the near future (10%).
