Just before Xmas, @vamrsproject met for one last time in VR to exchange greetings and reflect on its achievements in the past 3 years of implementation. The project developed a set of useful resources and activities to support HEIs integrate #VR & #AR into SMEs’ operations.

The tool has been developed to cater for both specific demands of SME Companies who wish to learn more about XR technology and the needs of higher education institutes who wish to integrate XR technology into their study programmes. You can find it at: xrskill.eu

The conference took place at the premises of FHM in Berlin, Germany and was an opportunity for the consortium to introduce the VAMRs deliverables and a variety of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology solutions for businesses and universities.

In the afternoon, we visited the BIMU Milan International biennial fair and most important Italian exhibition on metal cutting, metal forming and additive machine tools, robots, digital manufacturing and automation systems.

As part of the VAM Realities SME Coaching Programme, the project consortium together with SME representatives from all around Europe visited the city of Milan in Italy for a three-day site visit to industrial fairs and SMEs working with #VR and #AR technologies.
