🧠Neuroimaging peeps🧠 our field is blessed with beautiful visualizations. Our preprint provides 3 tools to help move toward code-based & replicable visualization: 📗practical guide (why should I?) 📦package selector (which one?) 🏗️code template generator (how do I start?) 👇🧵

What is the link between brain communication 🧠and evolution🐒? In this exploration we provide compelling evidence that information transmission is tied to the evolutionary complexity of mammalian brain networks. Fantastic work by @algriffa w/ super team👇 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Dynamic co-activation pattern analysis reveals brain plasticity mechanisms in a prevalent but poorly understood neurodegenerative disorder-idiopathic Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. With Dr. Gilles Allali, @dvdevill et al: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10… Thanks HBM for the cover 🧠😃 !

This adds evidence to the hypothesis of structural strengthening of intrahemispheric pathways as a potential neuroplastic response in children with agenesis of the corpus callosum.

However, surprisingly, there was no difference in functional connectivity between children with agenesis of the corpus callosum and typically developing children. Moreover, this increase in intrahemispheric structural connectivity was associated with better cognitive outcomes.
