They can’t win an election the old fashioned way — getting more votes — because of how deeply unpopular their policies are, so they’re instead trying to steal the election by making it hard or impossible for a huge number of people to vote. When we retake Congress, let’s instead pass a new Voting Rights Act that takes California’s pro-voting reforms national.

Under H.R. 1958, a green card holder could be deported without being convicted of any crime. In typical Republican fashion, this bill will not make any of us safer, it will just strip away due process and make it easier to deport people with lawful status.
