Been on a kick where I grab some old commissions I’ve purchased & putting some color to them. This is a commission I got back in 2017 from Clayton Henry. If you follow Clayton you know how ridiculous his colored pencil work is. So I got inspired to give it a try. Was a blast!

@retneysholocron @snoogans2434 @geekusfilm Curious. Is there a book or two that you can recommend that you really enjoyed that is centered around Luke? Would love to pick up a few stories outside of the movies.

@snoogans2434 @geekusfilm I’ve picked up many books 👍 It’s almost like art is subjective and this is my opinion. Luke Skywalker is my hero. Also the ability to project a duplicate of himself across the galaxy takes IMMENSE power in the Force. What are you even talking about lol

I don’t like this movie, but I will say that this is Luke Skywalker at his greatest. This may be the greatest portrayal of a Jedi on screen. Using the Force for knowledge and defense, saving lives without violence and selflessly sacrificing himself to the Cosmic Force.

Wanted to mess around with some water color on the background. No idea what I’m doing w that stuff but learning. Copic markers on the characters. Did the like work on the iPad a few weeks ago. Based off Art Adam’s Annual Uncanny X-Men 12 cover. #xmen

This is awesome. Outside of the great colors, I love the muted background that Matthew added. A great nod to Rogues first appearance in Uncanny X-Men!

Colossus - Outback Era I did a commission a few years back and this was the initial version of Piotr that I did. The client wanted a version that had the classic Byrne suit (and smiling) so I altered the line work. (Actual commission line work/pre shading in 2nd picture)
