In line with the ongoing community engagement across various levels of the command, today, 13/05/2026, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, received delegates from the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Abia State Chapter, led by their the Chairman, Hon. Prince Onukwud. 2. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the Command, create awareness of their role as the umbrella body representing all 21 registered political parties in Abia State and to seek collaboration with the Police. 3. The Commissioner of Police warmly received the delegation and reiterated the Command’s committed to its constitutional duty of protecting lives and property. He emphasized that the Police is non-partisan organization and does not belong to any political party. He further encouraged the Council as an umbrella body to guide its members to uphold decorum, remain law-abiding and act as ambassadors of peace, especially during this period of party primaries. 4. He also urged them as partners in crime prevention to collaborate with the Police by promoting peaceful conduct, setting good examples and providing timely information of security concerns to the command. This, he noted, will help Abia State to remain safe and secured for all.
