Hey #portfolioday Just letting you guys know that I'm still alive and always trying to get back into regular updates like I used to, except now juggling the earliest days of motherhood. The baby's now sitting up on his own and in such a rush to try to start walking.

Hi #portfolioday I've been super inactive lately, but have every intention to make more Anaether-related art and keep sharing with you guys. I'm just burnt-out from not having a nanny for the baby yet. Once I do, I think I'll be able to get back into the flow of things.

WIP redraw of an old illustration. I think rewiring my brain is actually kind of working. It's mostly about repeatedly interrupting demoralizing internal dialogue and incorporating new healthy habits, including encouraging thoughts. Hope you guys are all doing well.

Hi #PortfolioDay I'm Lizbeth and create artwork related to my original scifi series, "The Anaether." I'm currently working through some art block. It's way easier for me to draw/animate for students, but feels impossible to make art for myself these days. Just doing my best lol

An even older piece of Vas from 2015. Basically another iteration of their design.

Really old piece, before I knew how to deal with muddy colors. Vas holding a ghostly form of Syf. I'm not entirely sure what her "true" form even is at this point, as far as canonical story stuff.

It's actually a huge relief to be able to tell myself that I don't have to put in much detail at all in the backgrounds of my comic pages. Less work for me, and hopefully better-paced releases of content for you guys.

Scaling down on the level of detail for comic pages is so difficult for me. But if I can manage that, this story would get out to you guys so much more quickly. I guess I'm still prototyping my comic pages. I did finish another page yesterday for the first time since 2023.

Here's a really old piece of Vas I did from 2016. One of many, many prototypes and iterations I did. This was before they had much of a story at all.

lol I've been having such a busy year and was pregnant for most of it I just realized anaether.net is now owned by someone else who isn't even really using it. I totally forgot to renew the domain months ago. I'm not sure what to do next but I'm thinking.

I felt like smoothing out this animation a bit. Animated in Krita. Vas is nonbinary/androgyne, Tommy is male. Actually I'm not sure if it's Semeon or Tommy. Long story with this character lol.

Finally completed this piece. I can't remember the last time I completed a painting of Vas. I think I had a ton of art block for the past year or two, but I might be coming out of it right now. Meh, I'll just take things as they come.
