Interesting update from @WindowsInsider Windows 11 Insider Experimental Preview Build 26300.8493 brings back taskbar repositioning with support for top, left, right, or bottom placement, adds a smaller taskbar mode for more screen space, and includes more resizing improvements still in progress. Glad to see @Windows moving back toward more flexibility and personalization again. Currently on Beta Preview Build 26220.8474, so these changes haven’t reached my build yet. Interesting privacy/design issue I discovered on @GitHub today. A lot of developers probably want all 3 of these: • keep their personal email private • publicly display a professional/contact email • use GitHub noreply emails for all commits, including web-based operations But currently, the last two conflict. If “Keep my email addresses private” is enabled, GitHub uses your noreply email for web-based commits, but hides your public profile email completely. If it’s disabled, you can display a contact email publicly, but web-based Git operations may expose your primary email in commit metadata. Why not separate these into two independent settings? • public profile email visibility • use noreply email for web-based Git operations
