@NotBotAnand But what about “experienced” people? Shouldn’t they be on the freeway already!?

How many of you actually use the planning tools (JIRA, ADO etc) for ALL planning activities? Why do folks have the obsession of using spreadsheets!? Is it really efficient to use spreadsheets?

@donasarkar Under the desk treadmill was a solution for a coworker. I am in your boat trying to figure out what works. I tell myself to take the afternoon meetings while on a walk. But..

Everyone says that we should get 10k steps a day. That’s almost 5 miles! I manage fine when I’m traveling by wandering around cities but have never managed during a normal workday in Seattle. 10K per day-ers…how do you manage with desk jobs w/back-to-back meetings??

Pacific Northwest has some amazing birds! I was just not paying attention all this while. :( In the last 2 weeks, I've spotted at least 6 different kinds of birds visit my backyard. Time to figure out how to capture some pictures of these beauties.

With Outlook gone missing in my life, I am struggling with calendar management - specifically the meeting reminder pop-ups. Having my calendar in the browser isn't just working out. What do you all use to ensure you are not late for meetings?

Control Command Space to open symbols on Mac. Ok. Need to remember that on. I miss Windows+; Why can’t we have universal keyboard shortcuts!!

Why would you let go of some of the smartest people that work on really hard problems? it makes no sense to me. They're just now going to solve hard problems for someone else.

#GPT4 saved my dog's life. After my dog got diagnosed with a tick-borne disease, the vet started her on the proper treatment, and despite a serious anemia, her condition seemed to be improving relatively well. After a few days however, things took a turn for the worse 1/

@vboctor Have to give it a try now. I am kind of going mad at myself while using the fruit machines. My brain has too much Windows in it. Pun-Intended.

Just started using the Swish window management for #Mac app by @ch_renn and love it. I think this is the first window management app that will stick! Available on @Setapp or for a one time purchase ($16). #productivity

@BerndVerst Tell me more.. I am finding more instances of that panel being completely irrelevant and something I had opened hours ago to read detailed responses to a specific message. Coming from Teams I am finding that very strange. Is this another fundamental ecosystem unfamiliarity issue?

@varundikar I love that - it's so nice to be able to see a thread while being able to search for other relevant info in the same or other channels. I wish Teams had threading like that.

#Slack's side panel UX for showing inline responses to a message is just so weird. It remains open for a given message even if I have moved on to other threads. Or maybe I am not using it properly?

With the recent job change, I am dearly missing Teams and M365 in my work life. The subtle value of having everything integrated is not realized until it’s taken away.
