🚨🗣️ Roberto De Zerbi addressing concerns from #Tottenham fans with comments made at Marseille:
"I have never wanted to downplay the issue of violence against women, or violence against anyone more broadly. In my life I have always stood up for those who are more vulnerable, more fragile.
I've consistently fought and taken a stand to be on the side of those who are most at risk. Those of you who know me well, will know I'm not the type of person who makes compromises to win more games or to win an extra title.
I'm sorry if this offended anyone's feelings with this subject matter - I have a daughter and I'm very sensitive to these things, and I always have been.
I hope that over time people will get to know me better and will understand that at that moment I didn't mean to take a stance.

@Jordan54941136 @arthur91999 @clashreport The war “restarted” because it was never truly resolved. Azerbaijan gained enough strength over time to change the situation by force when the geopolitical moment was favorable.
English

@arthur91999 @vaskzzzz @clashreport Why did this war between Armenia/Artsakh and Baku start up again in the first place? I know it was frozen since the 90s, then I remember this Pashinyan overthrew the leader the Western media describes as "pro-Russian". The next thing you know, they've lost all of Karabakh.

Ten years have passed since the April 2016 Artsakh War.
On the night of April 1–2, 2016, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale offensive along the entire line of contact with Artsakh.
The fiercest clashes unfolded in the regions of Hadrut and Martakert. During the assault, Azerbaijani forces deployed heavy weaponry, including helicopters and drones, in an attempt to break through Armenian defensive positions.
Under the leadership of Serzh Sargsyan and Bako Sahakyan, alongside Defense Minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, Armenian forces mounted a determined and disciplined defense. The offensive was ultimately repelled, forcing Azerbaijani troops to retreat.
After sustaining significant losses and failing to achieve their objectives, Azerbaijan turned to Russia to mediate a ceasefire, which was reached just four days later, on April 5.
The Armenian side suffered 75 fallen servicemen and around 120 wounded.
Although Azerbaijan concealed its true losses, independent estimates suggested over 1,000 servicemen killed, along with tens of millions of dollars in destroyed military equipment. The outcome marked a serious military and reputational setback, particularly given the aggressive rhetoric that had preceded the attack.
Eternal glory to the Armenian heroes who gave their lives in defense of the homeland.

@Solomon30785642 @clashreport By international law Armenia illegally occupied the territory . Even Armenia itself didn’t recognise the sovereignty of so called ”artsakh”. Azerbaijan conducted the war on the territory of itself. CSTO could only intervene if the war was fought on Armenian soil

Roberto De Zerbi to #Tottenham is really, really, really close. Here we go expected soon.
Spurs really admire his attitude, tactical quality, and connection with players.
Spurs also had Marco Silva under consideration, but he is not leaving Fulham.

#Tottenham are going really hard for Roberto De Zerbi right now. It is their mission to appoint him before the summer, and are doing everything possible to convince him. [@FabrizioRomano] 🥇

I am going to be the most unbearable Poch propagandist until the summer but I don’t care I cannot wait 🥹
English

@xAlexTHFC @TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph So you’re saying we would have the same chance of staying up in the Premier League if we had Pep Guardiola as if we had Ben Davies?
English

@vaskzzzz @TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph Tbh I think it’s all about motivation for the players in this short period. No one is gonna manage some tactical masterclass.
English

@xAlexTHFC @TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph When Lange is in charge, the alternative to de Zerbi is Ben Davies
English

@vaskzzzz @TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph What makes you so certain de Zerbi keeps us up in 7 games ?
English

@xAlexTHFC @TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph Well if we follow your plan of choice we will have Poch in the championship next season
English

@TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph He doesnt even want to come. Another marriage of convenience incoming.
So sick of it.
English

@TottenhamTiers @JBurtTelegraph He is stupid if he says no to the amount of money he is receiving

🚨 Roberto De Zerbi is now open to considering #Tottenham’s 5 year contract proposal.
Discussions will follow looking for an agreement.

@henriconfucius @Truth_Unfiltere @visegrad24 Then those dead people in Israel are just also collateral dmg
English

@Truth_Unfiltere @visegrad24 Its not. Zero proof she was the target, and collateral damage is not a war crime

Mainstream media outlets reportedly used the phrase "war crime" nearly three dozen times in the first three weeks of the Iran conflict, but 88% of that usage was directed toward the U.S. or Israel.
CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis, and its research manager, David Litman, released a study counting 32 uses of the term "war crime" from the BBC, CNN, NBC News, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
The media watchdog found zero uses of the term directed solely at the Islamist Regime in Iran.
