@AuthorMJClifton It’s flat on the top of her head, makes her look old and fat. She needs a chemical straightening Brazilian blow out, and hair no longer than her shoulders.
“Some readers will find this uncomfortable. Others will dismiss it as unkind. But here is the undeniable biological fact that underpins this entire debate: the only prerequisite to being a “trans woman” is to be male.”
The op-ed that the ABC refused to publish 👇
@salltweets Transphobia is a mental illness. There’s something seriously wrong with you that you’re this obsessed with a group of people who couldn’t care less about you
King Charles and Princess Diana went through a messy divorce
1 year later she dies in a tragic “accident”
Watch how Prince William looks at him at her funeral
He knows what really happened to her
@MattWallace888 What really happened to her was that she shunned the protection the Queen offered her, trusted in Faye's security, got into a car with a drunk driver, and - crucially - failed to put on her seatbelt.
If she'd put her seatbelt on, she'd be alive today.
@Pond11892Girl@MattWallace888 Well said. This nonsense has been circulating for years. Diana chose not to wear a seatbelt. She died from injuries as a result of being thrust into the seat in front of her. Pathologists have stated plainly that had she been properly restrained, she would have lived.
@goblue43729 They were. But I have never really enjoyed watching Nicole Kidman in anything. She always seems a bit wooden.
Carey was brilliant as the Riddler.
Kiss from a Rose was written by Seal in 1987, but was only a worldwide hit almost a decade later. Released in 1994 on the album Seal II, the song went almost unnoticed on release.
Everything changed when director Joel Schumacher heard the track and decided to include it in the end credits of Batman Forever (1995). He even tried to use it in a romantic scene between Val Kilmer and Nicole Kidman, but it didn't fit in, yet he insisted on putting it in the film. Schumacher also directed an official music video using footage from the production.
The result was overwhelming: the song reached #1 in the US, became one of the biggest hits of the 90s and won three Grammys in 1996 (Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance).
The track had appeared before in the film The NeverEnding Story III (1994), but without being so successful.
@goblue43729@Lady_FanAccount Saw it at the cinema when it came out. It was a good film. The only negative was that Kilmer and Kidman had no chemistry at all, which was a disappointment after Keaton and Pfeiffer (and, in fact, Keaton and Basinger).
@Lady_FanAccount Always kinda weird that this movie gets shitted on, but EVERYTHING around the movie seemed to be a hit. Had to be a marketing gold mine.
They would get mad at cartoons being made to sell toys, but that's essentially what this movie was.
In 2011, Marcin Kasprzak lured his partner Michelina into the woods near Huddersfield, England. He used a stun gun on her, bound her with packing tape, sealed her inside a cardboard box and buried her alive in a shallow grave beneath an 88-pound log.
Michelina was the mother of a three-year-old son named Jakub. As dirt fell onto the box above her, she thought of him and refused to give up.
She had been wearing the diamond engagement ring Marcin had given her. Using its sharp edges, she worked through her restraints. After roughly an hour of struggle inside the buried box, she clawed her way out of the grave and survived.
Marcin Kasprzak was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
She survived being buried alive because she would not stop fighting for her son.
@spiderdi255@ripx4nutmeg Yes. Sometimes a woman just has to become stronger than she believes she can. Her boys are teenagers not little, and they will support her. Once she feels a little power in the situation she'll be able to move forward. At the moment she's hobbled by fear. I hope she overcomes it.
@ripx4nutmeg You are sad, you are frightened, you tell your children, be brave… take the reins. Speak out…Before he walks all over you and includes you in his perversions.
From Mumsnet:
I supported my husband cross-dressing, provided it didn't involve me or the family.
But he's now decided he's actually a woman and wants to dress as one in front of our children. I'm financially trapped. What do I do?
