The red/blue button situation has been intense, huh?
One of the strangest (or saddest) things to witness is that people getting heated about "RED BUTTON IS THE ONLY LOGICAL SOLUTION" seem near incapable of framing the thought experiment outside a purely individualistic lens.

The first sentence literally says "Everyone in the world *has to* take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button." Adding a green button or refusing to answer or w/e makes it different.

Its only after Nibelheim that Cloud hatred for Sephiroth begins
And its only after 5 years that he becomes concious again, so its only now the requirements are trully complete

As long as Cloud remembers Sephiroth with hatred/guilt, Sephiroth's will stays intact...Cloud becomes the vessel that keeps him from fully dissolving..letting him manifest again in Advent Children..and beyond in Remake stuff
