em 2020 a gente viu o BTS pulando de felicidade comemorando pela indicação ao Grammys. em 2026 a gente vê o BTS >rejeitar< o Grammys depois de serem usados e desrespeitados de todas as formas possíveis. ao mesmo tempo que isso me cura, eu sinto muito por eles passarem por isso.

for bts not to submit one of their biggest albums to the grammys this year is huge and i respect them for that. so much was poured into arirang and its message and i feel like it wouldn’t sit right with bts at all especially with the new category the grammys put out

and i’ve always, always said this but BTS are true artists who care about their art and how it’s received. the time and love that’s put into their music is real and the grammys never gaf about that so

it’s a win for us. any group that does submit for a category that was created to segregate Asian artists will go down in history as spineless and desperate. BTS have integrity, self-respect, and strength in genuine support— the most admirable award there is.
