Teagan and Orren wrapped up their Cornell BME Clinical Immersion Program with a poster presentation!

Congratulations to @CornellBME @ana_witkowski on successfully defending her PhD thesis! We are so proud of Dr. Witkowski!!

A very bittersweet summer in lab as we say good-bye to our postdoc Soph! So excited to see them thrive on their next adventure, grateful for all of the advice and the wealth of knowledge they have brought to the lab over the years!

The second of our new first years! Teagan Rocheville-Higgins graduated from Oregon State University, and she is excited to be part of research that has a large translational impact and to dive deeper into the field of orthopaedic biomechanics.

She is excited to investigate the role of cellular senescence and the immune system in osteoarthritis development and progression!

Introducing the first of our two new First-Year PhD Students, Orren Shachaf! She graduated from UT Austin with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, where she worked in Dr. Elizabeth Cosgriff-Hernandez's lab on emulsion-templated scaffolds for bone tissue engineering

I’ve been going through a roller coaster of emotions since successfully defending my PhD earlier this month. It’s bittersweet finishing graduate school and leaving such an incredible community within @CornellBME and @vdM_Lab, but I’m excited for the next chapter!
