And btw you don't need to run the whole git clone command every time you need another clone, just duplicate (not copy+paste) the existing clone with Finder. What's more interesting: the duplicate will likely take less space since APFS has optimizations for identical files.

I prefer having several clones of the same repo instead of several worktrees in one repo. This uses a bit more disk space for sure, but lifts a significant limitation for me: two worktrees in the same repo cannot be on the same branch, while independent clones can.

@ConserArmenians @alpennec To be serious though, the concept of "team switching" should just go away and the team ID should be a part of the URL. Today it's even impossible to do simultaneous work with two different accounts opened in neighbor tabs, nor can you have bookmark to an app that always works.

@ConserArmenians @alpennec Ah, team switching is so broken in App Store Connect. It looks like the technology hasn't been invented yet to remember which team I was last using when I log in. Hope this research breakthrough will happen in the next decade.

I feel half of my life is logging in to things these days. Login to Sentry. Login to Google to login to Sentry. Login to 1Password to login to Google. Use Passkey to login to Google. Accept for Google to login to Sentry... Where the hell did we go so wrong on this? How about I login to my computer and then I'm logged into every other god damn app and website?

TIL Xcode 26 has a View Debugging tool to show when a View is rendered called “Flash Updated Regions”.
This seems very powerful, I’ll make sure to débug my apps with that turned on.

Макбук после сервисного центра обновился до Tahoe с Liquid Glass. Потыкал-потыкал, работать невозможно, тьма багов и тупых интерфейсных решений. Даунгрейд системы сделать нельзя — Apple лочит на уровне железа. Если есть возможность, отключите обновления в настройках.

Or you can use Logger.debug from OSLog and have timestamps for free (just need to toggle them on in the Xcode console). And many other structured logging capabilities such as categories.

Advanced Swift tips: Easily Debug Performance While Instruments are very comprehensive, sometimes you just need timestamps for, e.g., a view first appearing and its data loading up. This helps you locate performance bottlenecks in your code. (p.s. Don’t use this in prod - instantiating a formatter every time is expensive, and more precise time APIs exist if you need them)
