Esta semana se anunció el data center con Taiwán. Es noticia importante pero es otra agenda. Un data center sirve cómputo, no integra IA en cómo trabajamos. Construirlo no nos pone al nivel de implementación. Nos pone en el mapa de uso energético.

Anthropic publicó el Economic Index. Paraguay queda 74/116 países en uso de Claude, Usage Index 0,52 (por debajo de lo esperado por nuestra población). El dato más interesante no es el ranking. Es para qué se usa.

En EEUU están en medio del debate sobre cómo está afectando este tipo de infraestructuras a su red energética. Quien paga después ? Quien sostiene ? Hagamos las inversiones y desarrollos pero sobre bases reales y fundamentadas.

Anyone cancelled Claude Code for Codex yet? Feels like dev's are switching not because Codex is better. but because it’s cheaper to actually get work done. What’s your experience?

Hay un catch. Suma contexto y preferencias pero no tenes realmente una forma segura que lea o aplique todas las pequeñas modificaciones que vas agregando cuando tenes el pull gravitacional de los datos de su entrenamiento. Aunque corregís y guardas en memoria algunos errores, se vuelven a repetir en otras sesiones aun estando documentadas.

Cuando empezás con Claude Code, uno de los conceptos más importantes es Memory. Cada vez que abrís una sesión nueva, el agente arranca sin contexto del proyecto, sin tus preferencias, sin nada de lo que hablaron antes. Eso hace que tengas que volver a explicar el proyecto, repetir instrucciones y corregir lo mismo en cada sesión. Ahí es donde entra Memory. Le permite a Claude Code recordar qué hace el proyecto, cómo trabajás y decisiones que ya se tomaron. Hay 2 sistemas para manejarlo: 1) CLAUDE.md - lo que vos le enseñás - Es un archivo de instrucciones que Claude lee al arrancar cada sesión. Podés tener varios alcances: ・~/.claude/CLAUDE.md → preferencias personales, aplica a todos tus proyectos ・./CLAUDE.md → instrucciones del proyecto, se comparte con el equipo ・./CLAUDE.local.md → notas personales sobre el proyecto, no se versiona 2) Auto memory - lo que Claude aprende solo - A medida que trabajás, Claude guarda notas sobre lo que descubre: comandos útiles, decisiones de arquitectura, preferencias de estilo Se guardan en: ・~/.claude/projects//memory/ Podes correr desde la terminal: ・/init → genera el CLAUDE.md inicial escaneando el proyecto ・/memory → muestra qué archivos cargó, abre el editor, activa o desactiva auto-memory

@omarsar0 Agree on the harness. One thing I keep separated: skills/memory feed context the model reads. Hooks run as plain code outside the loop and gate the next call regardless of what the model decided. They're not interchangeable.

"AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it." I don't disagree, but the issue is that current LLMs are not really trained to support that out of the box. I've solved this by building my own agent harness (retrieval, verification, memory, multi-agent architecture, skills, etc.). That's how important agent harnesses are today. Even with simple skills (.md files), you can already get far, so even non-technical folks can improve the "human-centered augmenting" capabilities of LLMs/agents. Continual learning promises to solve this, but we are so early on this. People need to understand that in-context learning works great for this. Today's LLMs are steerable if YOU spend time building and optimizing your workflows. Self-improving agents don't work as well because the incentives are not there. A good mindset is that every output you get from an LLM should be reused in some way, let it work for you, and make you and the agent better in the next session. So this has to come from you. You are the only one with the incentives to make it work for you the way you want. Don't wait for anyone to build it for you. Use AI to build the AI you want. Own the harness.
