@veelioth ooh before he did JE, he was in a movie with marie france pisier and their chemistry was crazy off the charts. funny thing is she played charlotte brontë prior to this and idc if she’s french, it would have worked for me !!!!

this makes me crazy knowing she played charlotte brontë in les soeurs brontë and he was mr rochester in the 1983 adaptation of jane eyre. so in some universe, this is a jane/rochester or a lucy/paul variant (or even charlotte and monsieur heger)

@veelioth oh my god THIS. loveee timothy as rochester (he is my second fav after toby) but him and zelah didn’t really have the fiery passionate essence nor a spark. i know who could’ve been a jane that would’ve matched the craziness & the weirdness and it drives me nuts thinking about it

@wildfellheights recently watched the one with timothy dalton and I actually enjoyed his portrayal but the chemistry between him and the actress who portrayed jane (zelah clarke) wasn’t there imo sadly 😭
