Bad example, @jakeshieldsajj. The fact that they extracted the pilot without this turning into Blackhawk Down 2.0 is a miracle and an accomplishment. Destroying equipment they were forced to leave behind so it does not fall into the hands of the enemy is also the smart thing to do (we know what flack we all gave Biden for leaving equipment behind). As for how you feel about the war in general, and the risks of having military get downed behind enemy lines because of the war, is a different and broader discussion. But this extraction was impressive and miraculous.
