Foundries, actors of the type industry, you know what you should do know and sponsorise a new version of Typographica's census on the distribution of the actors of the industry in the world: census.typographica.org/census/

Foundries numbers of employees ref from @typographica census.typographica.org/census/ On 314 foundries listed, ~20 with less than 10 people, 7 with 10 to 50 people = ~280 with 1 to 2 people. For OpenSource fonts, rely independent and noble providers like @velvetype who play fair.

Designers: make sure you buy licenses for the typefaces you use. This is the best proof of your support for the creative work produced by foundries (mostly 1 to 2, rarely more). Don't be fooled by "OpenSource" fonts being hijacked by web giant that is actually destroying values.
