@gracien21017 Meaning your data may not be transfered but there may be a new platform for vent users to Vent. I would still fill out an export data request if you want to save any old posts!

We’ve had to make the incredibly difficult decision today to shut down Vent. With the large spike in user activity Vent is currently down. Please know we are working on getting the platform up and running so that all users will be able to export their data prior to March 1st.

Update - We’re working with Azure support to get access to the instances that are down. It’s being escalated and bouncing around as everyone is trying to recover the old instance. We will continue to update as we have further information.

Vent with our announcement yesterday, the additional traffic has broken a few things. We have been working non stop with our providers to fix and will keep you updated as we know more.

@KingNixxie Totally understand how frustrating it is!! Can assure you though that you were speaking to a real human and those responses were genuine!! We are working on it 👍🏼👍🏼

@ventfeed You guys need to do more work on your moderation team instead. I have now been incorrectly suspended 3 times. And to every email I send about it, I get some copy/paste response about how you guys will do better, but nothing changes. I would like to speak to a real human please.

In return for our recent outage we have opened a bunch of cute sets for the month and will be providing our awesome patient community with a free months sub 🔜 So get venting!! 🎤

Good news! Big thank you to our engineers who have managed to get us back online, we do need to wait for the servers to re-synch but things are looking up! Again thank you everyone for being so patient.💗

I made a horrible mistake on the @ventfeed and it's not bullying or anything else..so I talk to my second mommy Liz on there and I accidentally unlistened to her on my Mariewaites account and I feel really bad about it 😔 she's going through something unimaginable 😞 i screwed up

@artzler We are definitely not shutting the app off, this was an unfortunate outage that is talking a lot of time to resolve!!

@ventfeed You guys don't have plans to shut down though right? I've heard through the grape vine that apparently you plan to abandon vent altogether 🤔doesn't make sense if you're trying to fix it though so idk. I also am subscribed so like idk what happens regarding refunding in that case

Update: Our engineers are still working on it and we are doing everything we possibly can to get vent up & going at 💯 again!

@ventfeed Nothing has been stabilized though? It's literally unusable. Everyone is saying that. Not just a few of us. I'm beginning to think this app is never going to be fixed.

Just a quick update, the team are working round the clock to keep stabilising the server. Thank you all for your patience, we cant tell you enough how much we appreciate all of you. ❤️
