#IEM Cologne Major 2026 Update:
Competitive Ruling - adr, Legacy
After reviewing repeated violations of the Major ruleset, the decision has been made that adr will no longer be permitted to coach the team for the remainder of the event's matches.
adr received multiple warnings for interacting with Legacy players during rounds, with the most recent incident involving the use of hand signals to confirm a strategy during a match.

Valve is facing backlash over CS2’s new Major sticker system.
The company has changed how Major stickers are sold for the Cologne 2026 Major, replacing traditional sticker capsules with a direct-purchase store.
The problem is that sticker prices now change based on demand. If lots of people buy a sticker, its price goes up. If fewer people want it, the price goes down
Because of this, some of the most popular stickers have reportedly risen to more than €1,500 each, while buying the 100 most wanted stickers would cost over €19,000 in total.
Many players say Valve is encouraging FOMO (fear of missing out) and turning stickers into expensive collector items instead of simple cosmetics. They argue that people may feel pressured to buy early before prices rise even higher.
Others say the community is also part of the problem. If players are willing to spend huge amounts of money on stickers, prices will continue to increase.
Supporters of the new system also point out that it removes the gambling aspect of sticker capsules because players can now buy the exact sticker they want.
