my first attempt at princess cake ! I followed nicola lamb’s method for assembling it in a bowl. the filling is mascarpone whip, cardamom custard and some cardamom cherry plum jam I made earlier in the week.
A sourdough sandwich fried in garlic butter, green chilli and parsley paste, with steak, caramelised onions with balsamic vinegar, melted cheddar cheese, and rocket with tomatoes
