@atlasm0m3nts I made a DND character that is a changeling with this concept! There were a lot of mishaps of alters fronting during the game and not being confident roleplaying another alter's character so for our next game i made a changeling that has different forms for each of my alters :)

imagining a plural shapeshifter in denial about being a system and the kinds of leaps in logic they would have to make. my identity issues are obviously because i’m a shapeshifter. i know i spent all day as a man yesterday. i don’t know why i did it maybe it was just funny.

@rainworldtakes ok but now it is an official dlc seen by most people as the natural extension of rain world’s plotline and game design.
im not a hater of it by any means, i started playing the game because of downpour, but i do think people are allowed to be upset about it being made official.

@UltraFreaker12 @rainworldtakes We actually know that a short name is most likely correlated with childhood because of an addition from Watcher, but there's a bunch of other elements like simply the imagery they have within the can of being connected to the wall via an umbilical.

@rainworldtakes you have to center the struggle Around ascension or at least a struggle related to it if you're going to have an ascension ending that doesn't come off as a Boring Version of Survivor.

@rainworldtakes adding another objective / just Having Played Through The Game Before nullifies the impact a lot because it Doesn't Feel Like you Did Everything You Wanted. the only way to get that back to a degree is being a completionist and even then that's only for a while.
