It's far better to simply cut marginal income tax rates than do these lump sum rebates or payments. They have the same effect in terms of returning money to taxpayers but they increase the return for the extra hours of paid work or a pay rise for employees.

This is the most economically irresponsible government Australia has ever had. These undergraduate student politicians that are running the joint are going to fuel inflation and make every aspect of your life more expensive. This is a choice they are making. The RBA and the IMF told them straight up ‘don’t do this it will increase inflation’ but they are going to do it anyway.

I'm happy to defend One Nation from baseless smears, and a public private partnership is not the same as privatisation. However PPPs have been a disaster for Hospitals, Northern Beaches Hospital was a PPP and it has been taken over by NSW Health because of poor quality of medical services and the receivership of its private owner Healthscope. A few policy brains in the One Nation operation would have warned them that a PPP for a public hospital was a bad idea. They gain nothing from this policy, only a vulnerability.
