Jeff Bezos's real father abandoned him and his mother when he was two years old. Mr. Miguel Bezos, the man that married his mother adopted him legally and took care of him. Many years later, after Jeff became the the richest man on earth, a documentarian started making research and found out that his real birth name was Ted Jorgensen. The man tracked his real father down and until then, in 2012, Ted Jorgensen didn't even know that the Jeff Bezos was his son. He started trying to reconnect with Jeff. However, Jeff Bezos refused to reconcile till Mr. Jorgensen passed on in 2015.
