@NicoleGohlke How is the freedom, peace, and democracy in the monarchies of Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Norway? You think you’re an intellectual but you are so smug and arrogant that you have become the racist imperialist. You think you can tell Iranians what is best for them? Try again.

14-year-old Amir-Mohammad Shahkarami went missing on Jan. 8 during the Lion and Sun Revolution. For 2 months, regime forces told his family that he was alive, in custody. After 60 days, his family was finally called in to identify his body. He had a gunshot wound to his head.

This morning, the Islamic Republic executed Amirali Mirjafari for participating in the Lion and Sun Revolution. The regime continues to massacre protesters behind closed doors, under false confessions, and in sham trials. There has been no ceasefire in their war on Iranians.

“Here’s what I’ve learned: the guy in the suit is not in charge. It’s the guys with the guns who are in charge. They are the IRGC, who are the Iranian equivalent of the SS/gestapo – an important distinction.   We miss this distinction at our own peril.”
Lindsey Graham@LindseyGrahamSC

The Iranians have provided us with a lot of information to learn from over the past 24 hours if we choose. What have I learned? About 24 hours ago, the foreign minister, the guy in the suit, declared the straits open with full passage. Last night, the IRGC, the guys with the guns, attacked a container ship and said the straits were closed. Here’s what I’ve learned: the guy in the suit is not in charge. It’s the guys with the guns who are in charge. They are the IRGC, who are the Iranian equivalent of the SS/gestapo – an important distinction.   We miss this distinction at our own peril. I have all the confidence in the world that President Trump will not let this provocation go unchallenged and will continue to push for a quick resolution through diplomacy or otherwise ensuring that: -The United States and the world will control the Strait of Hormuz, not Iran -The over 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium that could be used to make a dirty bomb or quickly enriched to become weapons grade material is completely removed from Iran -The Iranian missile and drone program will be limited, their support for terrorist organizations will come to an end, and there will never ever be a path in the future for Iran to develop a nuclear weapon by being allowed to enrich uranium. Like many other countries, Iran can have peaceful nuclear power but no enrichment. How this conflict ends will determine the stability of the region and the world for decades to come. Due to President Trump’s strong leadership through imposing the blockade and our brilliant military, over time, we have all the cards. foxnews.com/live-news/trum…

The Iranian people are continuing to suffer in silence. The regime is continuing to massacre Iranians behind closed doors, under the blanket of a complete internet shutdown. As the regime tries to control the narrative, it's our job to be a voice for the people of Iran.

I think VP may be misreading the situation a little bit. Ghalibaf has definitely become more prominent since June of last year. However, he is not the one running the country. The country’s top decision-makers remain Mojtaba Khamenei and the IRGC which is more represented by Ahmad Vahidi than by Ghalibaf.

JD Vance: The person who is effectively running Iran sat across from the Vice President of the U.S.—that had never happened. I think those people wanted to make a deal… you never know, though.

The dark humor of Iranians amid all of this, best captured by @mamlekate on Telegram: - They sent the anti-war Vance so that he could understand that you can’t negotiate with clerics. - When Vance returns to America he will sit behind a B-2 himself and come strike.

26-year-old Benyamin Naghdi was arrested by regime forces during the Lion and Sun Revolution. He has been charged with "waging war against Allah" and is in solitary confinement. He is at risk of imminent execution. The Islamic Republic's war on the Iranian people continues.

The United Kingdom has endlessly appeased the criminal regime in Iran. The Prime Minister speaks of protecting the innocent civilians of Iran but failed to act to help stop the regime’s massacre of 40,000 innocent Iranians in January. Only an end to this regime - that brings terror to Britain’s own shores - will yield lasting peace and regional stability. Keir Starmer should follow in the footsteps of Churchill, not Chamberlain. He should support the Iranian people’s fight for liberty. The Iranian people will remember who stood with them in their hour of need and who stood against them. There is still time for the Government to change course: prosecute the IRGC that slaughters innocents, expel the illegitimate regime's ambassador, and act to support the people of Iran.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

The two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran today is welcomed by the UK and our allies. The goal now must be a lasting end to the war. Alongside our international partners, the UK will work to ensure a return to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States has secured multiple wins over the past 40 days. The administration should be emphasizing those achievements to build domestic support for its decision -a wrong one in my view- to offer the regime a two-week ceasefire. Instead, its messaging has centered on a clearly false claim—that a new regime has emerged in Iran and that regime change has occurred. This undermines credibility and makes it harder for the public to trust its statements about the genuine victories it has achieved. This is how you lose the information and political war.

NUFDI spent the past months amplifying Iranians’ voices and advocating for a free Iran. That obviously includes talking/appealing to those on the right, I can’t fathom why it wouldn’t considering who the president is. I’ve also met with most democratic congressional offices. Kaveh and his ilk meanwhile spent the past months trash-talking and creating divisions because they have personal issues with the Prince or his team. Success for Kaveh is now getting to say “I told you so” to those of us that have tried to get the U.S. to support the Iranian people. He’s said it prematurely so many times now I’ve lost count. So congrats to him on his great successes with all his nonexistent dignity. NUFDI will continue fighting for Iranians though.
Kaveh Shahrooz کاوه شهروز@kshahrooz

Andrew, his bosses at NUFDI, and their ultimate boss Reza Pahlavi traded their dignity to get noticed by Trump. No far right convention they didn't attend, no MAGA hat they didn't wear, no Trumpist ass they didn't kiss. And for their service, they're disposed of like used Kleenex.
