🚨Liberals Spying: C22 Apple: We're worried about a hole in the wall. Liberals: There's no hole in the wall. Apple: But the bill lets you secretly order one. Liberals: Ok??? Google: We've never built a hole on a wall secretly! Liberals: There's no hole! Pinky promise! 🙃

@NicD903 That's exactly what they think. Or worse, they think they are the moral arbiters of what constitutes conservatism. When in reality, they are just ambitious insiders.

@vesperdigital They seem to think they own public opinion in Canada. They don't. They're just entitled, with a sense of undeserved superiority.

These people don't give a shit about Conservatives just their Careers. If these people are all so unhappy they should just create a party filled with strategists and consultants and call it "The Careerist Party of Canada" and run against Pierre. Let's see who wins. 🙃

@ryangerritsen These people are not interested in Conservatism and what it stands for. These people are the Party of Careerism. Kory, Scott and all these consultant class should just create a party called "The Careerist Party of Canada" 🙃

Scott Reid and the rest of these individuals just like everyone else have all succumbed to the anti-Pierre mainstream media rhetoric. What is even the point of all of this? Have they offered up another person to take Pierre’s place? I’d like to know what a new leader of the opposition can offer that Pierre isn’t? People dislike Pierre because the media hammers him with more scrutiny than the actual person leading our Country down the drain.

@liberal_party Google: No one on earth has ever asked us to break encryption with secret ministerial power like the Liberal government. Is that what the world is being told? Come to Canada so we can spy on you more?

I urge everyone to share this video as widely as possible. Most never watch committee, and don't hear the actual testimonies. Liberals will LIE and say "misinformation". Just show them this video of what Apple & Google said under oath.

@SchweitzerMan It's so absurd. We genuinely need to create The Kingsman organization here in Canada for precisely this sort of behavior from our government. An agency to spy on the spies at this point.

@vesperdigital Secret orders, breaching encryption, bypassing security protocols on behalf of a gubbermint with authoritarian tendencies. I wonder if WEF chose Canada for this initiative? And if Blarney succeeds, the precedent will be set for the UK, EU and anyplace the WEF "penetrates"?

6) In summary: The Liberals have such a hard on to become a super secret spy agency, with unchecked power, and the ability to immunize itself from the law, that they would not only be willing to break longstanding laws on privacy. But they also want to scare off big tech in the process. Name one other government besides China that does this level of spying on it's citizens with a bold face and then has the balls to act like they are protecting Canadians. They couldn't even manage to create a Travel Covid App without cucking that up. Now they want unsnecked and boundless power to access any network and break people's encryption. Not Communist dictatorship vibes at all...

5) This government will never stop being an embarrassment. Even when the U.K pulled a stunt like this. They almost lost access to Apple's Advanced Data Protection ICloud features.

4) But why stop at Google... No let's go after Apple too. Who cares if their chief technology officer is warning all of us Liberals about the dangers of what we're asking. We need to spy on everyone... Cause that's what a democracy is. Right Liberals!

3) But wait... There's more. Apparently and predictably... The Liberal government wants "BOUNDLESS" powers when spying on Canadians and Canadian companies. Why stop at one when you could spy on everyone as much as you want. I wonder if we're gonna have a Snowden moment soon.

2) It actually gets worse. Apparently Liberals think it's not only a good idea to leave it open to breaking encyptions, but apparently they also want to immunize themselves from legal inquiry... Cause nothing says trust, like you can't take me to court for spying on you.

Actually Darshan is partly right and mostly wrong. Poilievre ignored Darshan's whole slow-build plan, and hammered Trudeau every day, and moved the CPC by 20 points. Then Trudeau disappeared, Carney flies in, Trump shows up, tariffs show up, creates fear and a false sense of experience with the cheerleading of media of course and it flipped. Voters don’t reward clubs Simon. Voters punish whoever produces the pain. Canadians are starting to feel that pain. It will be the same thing with Carney, just as it was with Trudeau Sr. The party will become rejected, not the leader.

@vesperdigital But Darshan is right. The conservative party isn't to fix the problem. It's to hope liberals become so unelectable that they win by drfault. The conservative party chose to represent the establishment. Not the people.

Darshan, spare us all the bullshit slogans: "Hope is not a strategy" "Work hard to succeed" Nobody "HOPED" Trudeau into collapse. His record got hammered for years until even casual voters and his own MPs couldn’t ignore it. Do you even have a plan or just mantras?
Darshan Maharaja@TheophanesRex

“… eventually the public is going to awaken to the fact that nothing has actually improved under Carney'” Quite the strategy 🙄🙄 How did that work out with Trudeau? Let me spell it out -with apologies for using all caps: HOPE IS NOT A STRATEGY. You have to WORK to succeed.
