I recently said AI wasn’t really a thing in Nigeria.
Then @vetaorigin showed me how wrong I was—and I’m grateful for that reality check.
This isn’t just progress. It’s proof that we can build world-class tech right here.
Growth isn’t about competing, it’s about lifting each other. Sharing knowledge. Pushing boundaries together.
I’m excited. I’m inspired. And I’m ready to see what we can create when we actually support one another.
The AI future in Nigeria isn’t coming. It’s already happening and we’re part of it.

AI isn't a thing in Nigeria because it requires logic, data, and long-term planning, three things we constantly trade for "vibes and prayers." We’d rather pray for a job than build an algorithm to create a thousand. We aren't ready for 2026. 🚶🏾♂️💨

The current version of Veta Origin web is still an early preview, which is why features like user accounts, sign-in, and conversation history are not yet enabled.
We’re actively working on the full version where users will be able to create accounts, securely log in, and have their conversations saved across devices.

Thank you! We completely agree Francophone Africa absolutely deserves AI innovation, and that’s part of our long-term vision.
Right now, we’re starting with Anglophone datasets and languages to build a strong foundation, but as Veta Origin grows, we plan to expand to Francophone and other African languages so that the AI can serve the entire continent effectively.

I just hit $1K in sales for my digital product on Leenkies, and I’m genuinely excited.
My team and I built this to solve a problem we personally faced, so seeing it help other creators already is a huge win.
One of the things I’m proudest of with Leenkies is
Creators get paid in full, minus payment processor fees.
We don’t take a single cent, unlike many other platforms. This is because I believe creators deserve to keep all the value they create.
This is gonna be a really interesting journey for me, and I’ll be building in public and sharing my lessons as we grow.
