Starlink Opens Harare Capacity This morning, most people woke up to the news that Starlink has opened up capacity in Harare and yes, it's true. While the normal Residential ($50) and Residential Lite ($35) are yet to be opened up, Starlink has essentially opened up capacity through the Business Priority Packages. Priority packages come with a mix of bandwidth speeds, the first is Priority Bandwidth, this is superfast Internet above 100mbps consistently until exhausted before downgrading to normal (residential speeds) unlimited data. Essentially, this means, for the first few days, your Internet will be fast then slow down, insignificantly. It also means if you switch to this, those 48 hours downtime because your kit is restricted are gone. Also, your kit becomes locked to a fixed address. And for most who were on roaming, some of these packages are way affordable than what you were paying. The available packages are as follows: - $70 for the 40GB priority (unlimited) - $100 for the 1TB priority (unlimited) - $200 for the 2TB priority (unlimited) How to get this? User A: I already have a kit, how do I get this? Answer: You need to cancel your subscription, transfer the kit and reregistering it with the new packages User B: Since capacity is now available, I now want a kit. Answer: Go to starlink.com and get yourself the best deal. In about a week you'll be set up. User C: I had already paid a deposit to go on the waiting list. Answer: You can wait or switch your choice to Business Priority and use the deposit. User D: I can't wait, I want it now!
