It's really sad and disheartening to continue reading about the experiences of women being denied opportunities in competitive LoL, simply because of their gender, and regardless of their skill. A huge props to all the people who've spoke up about this topic ❤️‍🩹 Ultimately, all of these conversations show that we still have such a long way to go, and why initiatives like Game Changers are so so important for giving women the chance to shine and perform, when they are constantly being denied. Despite the scene being hugely neglected, with few tournaments and announcements, and a visible lack of support from higher up, that’s not an excuse. Seeing today's tweets has inspired me to do more, so I'm going to reboot my video series to spotlight incredible women in the League community and give them a platform to be seen and heard 🤍 We still have a long way to come and a lot of work to do - myself included!
