Sir David Attenborough has spent more than a century reminding humanity of something we too often forget:
And somewhere along the way, many of us became so consumed by our own lives, our own ambitions, our own convenience that we stopped noticing the extraordinary world quietly holding us up every single day.
The forests that give us breath. The oceans that regulate our climate. The pollinators that feed us. The elephants that plant forests and shape entire ecosystems simply by existing.
Elephants are not just animals wandering through the wilderness. They are gardeners of the forest. Seed dispersers. Architects of biodiversity. One of natureโs greatest gifts to this planet.
Yet we continue to push wildlife to the marginsโas though their survival has nothing to do with ours.
Maybe this Monday is a reminder to step outside ourselves for a moment. To look up. To reconnect. To remember that life becomes far richer when we stop asking only what the world can give usโฆ and start asking what kind of world we want to protect. ๐
